Henan Longquan Jinheng Electric Power Co., Ltd. is affiliated to Yidian Holding Group Co., Ltd. and is a key project of Henan Province's "Eleventh Five-Year Plan", with a total investment of 4.5 billion yuan, covering an area of 550 acres, and currently employs 350 people.
The company's 2 × 660 MW unit is an ultra-supercritical unit built on the original site after shutting down the original 4 × 135 MW unit of Luoyang Yugang Electric Power Development Co., Ltd. Unit #1 was put into operation on November 1, 2012, and Unit #2 was put into operation on March 13, 2013, with an annual power generation of about 8.5 billion kWh.
The three main engines of the company's boilers, steam turbines and generators are all made by Shanghai Electric Group. The main and auxiliary equipment of the two units run smoothly, and various parameters and economic and technical indicators have reached or exceeded the design values. The company's environmental protection facilities such as desulfurization and denitrification operate continuously and reliably. In 2016, the ultra-low emission transformation of two units was completed to meet the emission standards of gas-fired units, and passed the acceptance of Henan Provincial Environmental Protection Department. The company has built a fully enclosed coal shed, installed fog cannons and coal truck washing devices, and is building a special railway line for coal-fired transportation, which is planned to open to traffic by the end of the year. On May 28, 2018, Li Zhanshu, Chairman of the National People's Congress, spoke highly of the company's environmental protection work.
