Aluminum industry, casting and abrasives are the three traditional industries in Yichuan County, and they are also industries that urgently need to be transformed and upgraded. These traditional industries provide indispensable basic materials for social and economic activities, and the demand is still growing. This industrial resource-based structure is precisely the important advantage of a regional economic development. There is a gap between some traditional industries in China and similar industries in developed countries, and their transformation and upgrading should be realized mainly through process innovation, technological improvement, reduction of energy consumption and emission reduction.

Although the smelting end consumes electricity, from the perspective of the entire industrial chain and the full cycle, aluminum acts as a basic material in the fields of new energy vehicles, aerospace, and new materials. It has made outstanding contributions to energy conservation, emission reduction and lightweight development. In addition, aluminum materials are recyclable and recyclable, and the energy consumption for reuse is significantly reduced. The pace of research, exploration and application development of new aluminum-based materials will never stop, and will surely become an important raw material to support the development of the national economy. Therefore, the aluminum industry should not be viewed in a discriminatory manner. Second, local governments should support the development of regional aluminum industry. The existing electrolytic aluminum production capacity in Henan Province has dropped to about 2 million tons, the national electrolytic aluminum ceiling has been formed, and the existing electrolytic aluminum production capacity has become a resource. Electrolytic aluminum is the foundation for future industrial development. Yichuan County should give full play to the advantages of electrolytic aluminum resources and firmly seize the opportunity to develop the aluminum industry. Third, aluminum deep processing enterprises should upgrade, improve product structure, increase market share, supply price level and product added value. Longding Aluminum, a subsidiary of Yidian Group, has developed into the world's second largest aluminum foil manufacturer and the world's seventh largest aluminum sheet and strip manufacturer. In the next step, it will add 35,000 tons of double-zero foil production capacity to increase corporate profitability. Fourth, actively strive for preferential national tax policies, accelerate the construction of a 500,000-ton recycled aluminum industrial park, and provide more support and services for upstream raw material and aluminum product manufacturers.
